She also discusses what a producer does in the entertainment industry, her TED Talk “Aging into Power” as well as being a triathlete and surfer. This week on Office Ladies 6.0, Jenna and Angela talk with comedian Tig Notaro! Tig played the mother of the girl who punched Andy in the face in the Season 8 episode, “Test the Store”. Tig shares how she got her job on The Office and tells a hilarious story about her big scene in the Dunder Mifflin conference room. Angela asks Tig what it’s like to be part of the “Star Trek” universe, and Jenna and Tig talk about their experiences with breast cancer. They also discuss Tig’s stand-up, her podcast “Handsome”, and producing the upcoming documentary about poet and activist Andrea Gibson, “Come See Me in the Good Light.” So, whether it’s making paper or doing amazing comedy, “You do good work.”

This week on Office Ladies 6.0, Jenna and Angela interview Wendi McLendon-Covey, who played Concierge Marie on “The Office”! Wendi shares how she got her job on “The Office” and what it was like to be in the episode “Business School,” blowing Michael’s mind with Marie's knowledge of dry cleaners in Winnipeg. Wendi then talks about acting in “Reno 911!”, “The Goldbergs” and now “St. Denis Medical”. She also talks about her cats! This is such a treat, so “Excuse me, hello. Concierge Marie. Michael Scott. This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies talk with comedian Leanne Morgan! Jenna and Angela ask Leanne about her comedy career and how she experienced success later in life. Leanne shares how she hustled and is elated to now have a comedy show coming out on Netflix! She also talks about spending time with her children and grandchildren in her free time and how “The Office” is her go-to comfort show on a plane. This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies break down the BBC pilot of “The Office” and they are joined by the wonderful Lucy Davis, who played Dawn Tinsley! Lucy shares how she got her job on the BBC “Office” and what it was like to film the show. The ladies then break down the pilot together and point out similarities and differences between their two versions of “The Office”. Jenna shares how she met Lucy before filming the US pilot of “The Office,” and Angela and Lucy talk about journaling during the run of the two shows. This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies interview Tony Hawk! Tony Hawk is a professional skateboarder, owner of the skateboarding company “Birdhouse”, and a huge fan of “The Office”. He shares how he became a fan of the show, what character he most relates to, and later rewatching the show with his daughter. Tony also digs into his career as a professional skateboarder, his upcoming game "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4," and the ladies ask him if in skateboarding there’s pranks and if he’s ever done parkour. Jenna also shares how her first high school boyfriend was a skater, and Angela tells Tony about her love of roller skating. This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies interview “Office” writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg! Gene and Lee are credited for writing great episodes like “Dinner Party”, “Scott’s Tots,” and “The Secret,” among many others. Gene and Lee share how they met and then got their jobs on “The Office”. They dive into writing an unexpected side of a character, like Angela Martin, going out of her way to get the attention of Charles Miner in the office, and learning subtext from Greg Daniels. They also talk about an episode they wanted to make, but the writing staff was never able to crack. This is such a fun episode to see the perspective of writing for “The Office”. So, whether you’ve had a worse birthday than Michael or not, enjoy this episode!

This week on Office Ladies 6.0 the ladies interview Lindsey Broad! Lindsey played Cathy Sims, the cool Dunder Mifflin temp that ended up acting as a foil to the Jim and Pam relationship while Pam is on maternity leave. Lindsey shares how she got her job on “The Office” and how much she knew about her character when she started. She describes how later she learned that Cathy was going to act as the “wedge”. The ladies and Lindsey dive further in episodes like “Tallahassee” and the famous bed bug scene. Angela also asks about Lindsey’s experience with “Pool Party” and Jenna has an exciting announcement to share. So enjoy this episode like a smug bed bug!

This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies chat with Clark Duke! Clark played Clark Green on “The Office” and was introduced to the show in Season 9 with Pete Miller (played by Jake Lacy.) Clark chats with Jenna and Angela about how he got his job on “The Office” and what it was like to join the show as a series regular in the final season. He also talks about his new venture into directing which consists of the 2020 film “Arkansas” and an upcoming film that reunites him with Jake Lacy. So stop trying to sit next to your wife, Jim, and let Clark sell paper while we enjoy this episode!

This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies sit down with Timothy Olyphant! Timothy Olyphant is known for a wide range of film and television roles, including the award-winning shows “Deadwood” and “Justified.” We of course loved him as Dunder Mifflin’s traveling salesman, Danny Cordray. Jenna, Angela, and Timothy chat about his early days in show business and what it was like playing Danny and working on the set of “The Office.” We also ask Timothy the call sheet questions, and Jenna and Timothy get into a discussion about bread making, (we might need a spin-off podcast called Bread with Timothy). Angela reminds Timothy of a time they drank bourbon on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (she thought it was fakey bourbon, it was not). Timothy is an absolute delight, maybe we do need to take this show on the road! Look out Southwest terminal in Austin because "Office Ladies on the Road with Timothy" might be heading your way. (Kidding but wish we weren't.) 

This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies sit down with Dave Rogers! Dave was an editor for “The Office” as well as he directed a few episodes, and now he is the person behind editing the Peacock Super Fan episodes. The ladies walk through with Dave how he extends and edits original "Office" episodes into Super Fan episodes. They also discuss what it was like from his perspective working on the show and Jenna gets his thoughts on the Dunder Mifflin hallways. Angela also shares a video of her interviewing Dave in his editing bay during the run of "The Office" in “Adventures with Angela”. This is a great episode for Office fans and learning more about how the show was made. Enjoy! 

This week on Office Ladies 6.0, the ladies interview Kathy Bates! Kathy has many accolades and dynamite performances which includes playing Sabre CEO Jo Bennett on "The Office". Kathy shares what it was like to play Jo Bennett as well as her current portrayal of Madeline Matlock on “Matlock”. Jenna and Angela also talk with her about being a cancer survivor and her advocacy work for the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN). Allison shares how she got into casting and her memories of helping Greg Daniels assemble this great cast. The ladies share some audition stories, Allison reminisces on some of her favorite “Office” memories and of course, Allison talks about working in casting with Phyllis Smith before Phyllis was cast on “The Office.” Enjoy!
